SMS Compliance Updates

We've been working hard with our telephony provider to make sure all texts are compliant and optimized for deliverability. To further support this, we've added the Practice Name to:

  • All automated SMS sequences (indoctrination messages, appointment reminders, etc.)

  • All texts sent via the SMS Campaign Feature (New and Reactivation) now include the placeholder [Practice.Name].

This means that all texts will have the practice name (shown in bold below) added to the beginning. Example:

Haven PT: Hi, Sarah! This is Kyle at Haven PT. How have you been feeling lately?

Updated Disclaimers on Landing Pages

  • We now have an updated and uniform disclosure when contacts are submitting information on a CTA to include message frequency, HELP/STOP instructions:
By providing your number & checking this box, you agree to receive messages from Haven PT. You acknowledge these messages may be sent using an autodialer, automated SMS or pre-recorded voice. Text HELP for help. Text STOP to unsubscribe. Consent is not required for any purchase. Message frequency varies & data rates may apply.

Feature Improvement: Filter Text Audience by Insurance Carrier

[BUG FIX] Google Review Links

  • We identified an issue affecting Google Review Links being removed from accounts. The Google Review Link field was clearing out when certain fields were updated in location settings. This is now fixed. This field and any other field should not be affected by other actions, please email support@getbreakthrough.com if you are experiencing any issues with your Google Review link.

Proactive Compliance for Email Sending Requirements

  • In February 2024, Google/Yahoo are updating their guidelines on compliance for email deliverability. For more information about these updates, check out this article: Gmail and Yahoo’s 2024 inbox protections and what they mean for your email program
  • We've audited our email service to ensure we comply with all new guidelines and that accounts will not experience any impacts on deliverability.
  • We've also set up Google Postmaster Tools to more closely monitor our deliverability to Gmail addresses.
