2026 Pricing Changes

At Breakthrough, our goal is to help your practice reach more patients and grow your revenue. Over the last year, we’ve seen something amazing: practices using more SMS and AI automation are seeing significantly better results.

To make sure we can continue providing the best tools and support while you scale, we are moving to adding utilization-based modifier to our existing pricing plans.  


What is Changing?

Your monthly software licensing fee will include a generous amount of contacts, SMS messages, and AI automations. Most practices will stay well within their plan limits. However, if you use more than what is included in your tier as your practice grows, you will simply pay a small overage fee. This ensures you only pay for the extra value you're receiving.

Understanding Overage Fees

If you go over your plan’s limit, the overage fee will be billed quarterly.

    • Pro: $100 per extra 2,000 contacts 

  • SMS: If you go over, it's ... 

    • Core $250 per extra 1,000 messages 

    • Pro: $100 per extra 1,000 messages 

  • AI Automations: If you go over, it's ... 

    • Core: $219 per extra 1,000 automations  

    • Pro: $189 per extra 1,000 automations 


Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as an "AI Automation"?

An AI automation is any task our AI does for you. This includes things like:

  • An AI-generated text message sent to a contact

  • AI automatically changing a contact's phase (e.g. moving them from Lead-New to Lead-QuickConfirmed) 

  • AI submitted an appointment request on behalf of a contact


Why are you changing the price?

Sending text messages costs money for every message sent. As our users send more messages to get better results, our costs have gone up. This new model allows us to keep our base prices the same while supporting the high-volume users who are seeing the most growth.

How do I know if I’m going over my limit?

We have added a new Product Utilization report to your account so you can see exactly how much you’ve used at any time. To find this report: 

  • Log into the Breakthrough app
  • In the left-hand navigation menu, click Insights 
  • Select Product Utilization
    • Note: This report will pre-filter for the most recent complete month

Can I upgrade to Premium to get unlimited usage?

Yes! If you find yourself routinely going over your limits, upgrading to Premium is the best way to get unlimited Contacts, SMS messages, and AI functionality.
