First Time and/or Full Contact Import

Enabling the Prompt-Breakthrough Integration 

  • Contact Prompt Support and request the Breakthrough integration 
  • Once this request has been filled, log into Prompt EMR 
  • Click Company in the left navigation menu
    • If the user does not see this option in the menu, they like do not have admin-level user permissions. Contact the Prompt support team for assistance. 
  • Click Settings in the top navigation menu 


  • Scroll down to the Integrations section > locate BreakThrough PT Integration 
    • If this integration is not listed, please contact the Prompt support team. 


  • Click Connect 
  • A new tab will open where the user will be prompted to enter their Prompt username and password again 


  • After entering username and password, the user will need to enter a six-digit verification code via Google Authenticator or a similar app

Importing Contacts

  • A new tab will open where the user will walk through the Breakthrough integration setup wizard: 
  • Login modal: Enter Breakthrough username and password > click Submit 



  • Permission modal: Check the box to confirm the user has permission from the imported contacts to send email and text message communication and agree to Breakthrough's terms and conditions > click Next





  • Location modal: Select a Prompt facility to map to each Breakthrough location 
  • Confirmation modal: Confirm the location listed is the correct receiving location > click Confirm 
  • The user will be redirected to Breakthrough app > Location Settings where the integration will be visible under the new Integrations tab
    • Important: There is no need to click the Import Data button, the contact import will begin automatically.
  • The job will take a few minutes to process; when it is complete, a confirmation email will be sent to the email on file for BOOM notifications.
