What is Automated Reactivation?
The Automated Reactivation campaign is a type of Nurture Campaign that executes automatically when a contact is moved to No Phase status.
- The campaign contains 1 email and 1 SMS message. Both are short and direct with an inquiry about the contact's health and a scheduling link should they want to seek care.
- The campaign executes every 3 months, approximately, and repeats in perpetuity until the contact moves to another phase and/or the campaign is disabled.
- Automated Reactivation can be sent in addition to or in place of manually scheduled Reactivation Campaigns.
How to Enable Automated Reactivation
This is an optional feature that a Breakthrough team member needs to first turn on for your account. Reach out to your CSM or contact support@getbreakthrough.com to request this feature.
- After logging into PTWorkshops.com, click on Campaigns in the top navigation bar.
- Click Nurture Phase Campaigns in the sub-navigation bar.
- The table on this page displays the automated campaigns that trigger based on a contact's phase. The table contains the following columns:
- Phase Name
- Campaign Name
- Contains
- Enabled
- Tool Bar
- If the Automated Reactivation feature has been turned on for your location, the first row of this table will contain campaign information for No Phase.
- If the Enabled toggle is in the On position, the campaign is live and actively sending to contacts in No Phase.
- Clicking the Preview icon will show the user a preview of the campaign.
- Clicking the Contacts icon will show the user which contacts are actively enrolled in the campaign.
- Clicking the Scheduled Sends icon will show the user future campaign sends scheduled to go out.
- Clicking the Message Log icon will show the user status updates on past campaign sends.
- Clicking the Settings icon will give the user the option to change or edit the campaign.
How to Edit the Automated Reactivation Campaign
- Clicking the Settings icon will open the Change Campaign pop-up window. From this window you can:
- Click the Campaigndropdown menu to change the campaign.
- Click the Revert to Default button to change the campaign back to Breakthrough default option.
- Click the Edit button to edit the campaign copy.
- Read more about campaign editing options: How to Edit a Campaign
- Important Note: The final step of the campaign must have a campaign trigger to remove the contact from the campaign based on send. If this option is not in place, the contact will not be reenrolled in the automated campaign upon completion.
- If this trigger is missing from the final campaign step, click the Add Trigger button to open the Add Trigger pop-up window.
- On the Add Trigger pop-up window, click the Trigger On dropdown menu and select Sent.
- Click the Remove from Campaign dropdown menu and select Current.
- Leave the Add to Campaigns field blank.
- Click the blue Add Trigger button.
- Important Note: The final step of the campaign must have a campaign trigger to remove the contact from the campaign based on send. If this option is not in place, the contact will not be reenrolled in the automated campaign upon completion.
How to Save Campaign Changes
- Click the blue Save Campaign button in the bottom right corner of the campaign editing page to open the Save Campaign pop-up window.
- In the Campaign Namefield, give the new campaign a name that will make it easy to find in the future.
- Tip: We recommend adding your practice name to the front of the Breakthrough campaign name. See example below.
- Click the Save button in the bottom right corner of the Save Campaign pop-up window.
- The No Phase row on the Nurture Phase Campaigns table should automatically update with the name of the newly saved campaign.
- If it does not, click the Settings icon, select the new campaign from the Campaign dropdown menu on the Change Campaign pop-up window, and click the Save button in the bottom right.
How to Disable the Automated Reactivation Campaign
- To disable the campaign, find the Enabled column on the Nurture Phase Campaigns table and move the toggled to the Off position. This will remove all contacts from the campaign and cancel future campaign sends.
- Note: This action may take a few minutes to take effect.
