Lead Attraction During the Holidays

Modified on Fri, 9 Sep, 2022 at 10:15 AM

Most practices see a decrease in lead numbers between October - January because of the holidays. There is often increased Facebook ad competition during the holiday season, so we recommend diversifying practice marketing.

Here are some strategies you can use to maintain a consistent volume of new patients during the holiday months:

  1. Build Your Marketing Calendar. Keep in mind your patient goals and set a personal goal for conversion rates. Check out this PDF guide for some templates and ideas!

  2. Run a GPE Email Campaign. The GPE email campaign is a big patient generator for practices. We recommend running one in November or December while ad competition is high. You should also consider running a GPE Ads Funnel early in the new year.

  3. Don't Stop Running Workshops! It's not uncommon to see a dip in workshop attendees in the Winter. We've found these two tips to be helpful to prevent low turnout during the holiday months:
    • Avoid holding workshops the week of Christmas and Thanksgiving.
    • Avoid in-person workshops between December 15th - January 3rd when many people are attending holiday parties or traveling.

  4. Plan for More Partner Workshops. Many businesses are looking for marketing opportunities during this time! Click here to read more on running partner workshops.

  5. Run Your Best-Performing Funnels Over the Christmas/New Year Holidays. Take some time to review your Insights tab in Breakthrough. Which Campaigns have the highest open rate? What about the highest reply rate? Consider running these campaigns, if you haven't recently.
Tip: Our Single Question Campaigns are a good option here. If you haven't tried one yet, now is a great time!

  6. Take Advantage of Holiday Email Campaigns. Breakthrough has several holiday email campaigns. Check them out here and get to scheduling!

  7. Create End of Year Deductible Awareness. Make sure your patients understand they could have unused benefits which they've already paid for. Run the End of Year Deductible Campaign. Send out direct mail, post flyers inside your practice, and highlight it in newsletters.

There are several strategies you can use to help boost and maintain your patients during the holiday season. It's a lot to keep up with! We've created checklists to help you keep these strategies simple and easy to follow.
