A Phase is a step along a contact’s journey from lead to patient. The Patient Phases are:
No Phase (imported contacts will show as this until updated)
Lead (workshop, appointments, and other registrants)
Free Screen
Initial Evaluation
Patient
Note: Contacts do not have to move sequentially through each Phase, but we recommend updating the contact for each Phase it does complete so that reports are as accurate as possible. For example, if a contact goes straight from Lead to Initial Evaluation and then to Patient, Free Screen can be skipped.
You can quickly reference contacts in certain phases is by using the sub-navigation bar:
From the Contact page, the Phase column shows their current phase, when they joined that phase, and relevant details like workshop, appointment, or graduation dates. The current Phase determines which Status options are available.
You can see the Phase logic in Breakthrough by going to the Settings Gear and selecting 'Manage Phases'.
