AI Conversion Agent (AICA): How Do I Know if It's AI?

Modified on Thu, 19 Feb at 3:18 PM

With some of SMS messages that get sent to your contacts, you may be wondering how you can tell if it's the AI Agent or not. One major giveaway telling you that the SMS message is not from the AI Agent is when the message doesn't start with, "Hi, this is Emily." (Or whatever you chose to name the AI Agent.)

Here's a few cases studies as examples:

Case Study 1: An Indoc Campaign

  • This is an SMS step from the non-AI indoc campaign for appointments. It automatically deploys when someone requests an appointment via landing page or embedded form.
  • Replies to this message will remain as unread in the Text Inbox for your practice to address. Replies to an AI Agent-enabled campaign would bypass the unreads.
  • This is NOT the AI Agent responding because it does not start with "Hi, this is Emily." Instead, you'll notice it is coming from the practice name:

Case Study 2: Indoc Sequences and a No Show Sequence

  • These are SMS steps from non-AI indoc and No Show campaigns, respectively. These deploy automatically  prior to the workshop (the indoc) OR following the workshop dependent on contact phase (the No Show).
  • Replies to these messages will remain as unread in the Text Inbox for your practice to address. Replies to the first message (Emily) would bypass the unreads.
  • TIP: You can tell these aren't the AI Agent because they don't begin with "Hi, this is Emily."

Case Study 3: Automatic Phasing

  • Scenario: A client reports that the AI Agent automatically phased someone into Unresponsive-Lead, Lead-NoShow, etc.
  • The AI Agent is only programmed to phase contacts into the following phases. Any phasing activity beyond these three phases requires manual activity by a human user.
    • Lead-QuickConfirmed
    • Canceled-Workshop
    • Lead-New, Appointment Request Received
