AI Conversion Agent (AICA): User Guide - How to Disable AICA

Modified on Wed, 19 Nov at 4:47 PM

In some urgent or "911" cases, AICA may need to be disabled. An example of when AICA may need to be turned off is when the practice may be receiving an overwhelming response back from an SMS campaign.

Workshop Confirmation Use Case:

AICA can be disabled by:

  • Toggling off AI Agent on the Manage Event modal (Growth > Edit button next to the workshop)

    • You can also delete the AI-enabled workshop, (trashcan icon next to the workshop in the Growth page) but do this with caution. (If you are unsure, or unable to perform this specific action, please reach out to support@getbreakthrough.com)

    • At the individual contact level, using the toggle on the conversation in the chat log

Reactivation Use Case:

AICA can be disabled by:

  • At the individual contact level, using the toggle on the conversation in the chat log
  • Deleting the AI-enabled campaign

    • This is true even if the campaign has already sent.

    • NOTE: Use this option with caution; at this time, data from deleted campaigns is unavailable.

Note: If AICA is disabled and then re-enabled again, it will respond to a contact who texts back - the contact does not need to wait until they are in a new AICA-SMS campaign or an AI-enabled workshop again to get a response from AICA. Keep in mind, AICA is reactive to the conversation, meaning it will not retroactively bring up information from the previous "chat session" before it was disabled.
